Caring for your jewellery

How do I store my jewellery?

It’s best to keep your jewellery in a cool and dry place and remove before sleeping, showering or exercising.

How can I avoid tarnishing or damage?

Take extra care to avoid dropping your jewellery onto hard surfaces as the impact can weaken or break the piece. It could result in fractures in the glaze surface, or may even shatter the porcelain.

Sterling silver will tarnish over time. This is accelerated by exposure to water, perspiration, pollution and chemicals. These include sprays and creams like soap, perfume, moisturiser and suncream so it is best to remove your jewellery before using any of these products. However, sterling silver is easily cleaned with warm, soapy water or a silver polishing cloth.

The best care for your ceramics

Whats the best way to display my ceramics?

Store your ceramic pieces in a relatively high position, up on a stable shelf in a position where it is unlikely to be knocked by someone passing by. Somewhere with great light where is can be viewed at its best.

How do I clean/dust my ceramics?

The best thing to use is a dry, lint free duster or micro-fiber cloth.

Never put pieces in the dishwasher, as it may dull or damage the glaze surface.

I’m moving home, whats the best way to transport my ceramics?

We recommend the double boxing method, with a layer of padding (news paper would do) between the inner and outer box. This way, the outside box can take some knocks in transit whilst the box inside stays safe and sound.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your products handmade?

Yes. We are proud to be a London based studio producing everything you see in our store by hand. Even the ceramic materials (porcelain and glaze coatings) we use to make our pieces are made from the raw ingredients in our studio lab. We only use our own recipes, exclusive to our studio.

If an item I like is out of stock, can I request a preorder?

Yes! We would be happy to accommodate you. Just drop us an email with your request and we will direct you further from there. (This also helps us know how popular each one of our pieces are, and if we need to make more.)

Do you do custom designs?

Due to the busy nature of our studio, this is not a guarantee. However do get in contact and we will see if we can accommodate you.
